CSL Plasma operates one of the largest and most sophisticated testing facilities in the world, located in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Quality laboratory tests check each plasma sample for viruses before plasma is approved for manufacturing. The tests screen plasma for the presence of viruses or other agents that cause disease. Additionally, NAT (Nucleic Acid Test) is conducted to identify specific viruses.

Other tests may be performed on your plasma as needed to ensure the quality of the product and to determine suitability for continued donations.

Please keep in mind that the tests performed at CSL Plasma are for product screening purposes only. If one of your tests is unsuitable, you will be referred to your personal physician or local health department for further consultation.
