How to become a plasma donor:
In order to donate life-saving plasma, individuals must meet strict eligibility criteria and are medically screened. For example, some of the criteria include proof of address, must be 18 years of age or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. If eligible, donation may occur up to two times a week in a seven-day period (with at least 48 hours in-between donations). The collection process is called “plasmapheresis”, takes approximately 90 minutes and donors are compensated for their time with a Visa prepaid debit card.
